Microsoft warms up waiting for the new CEO
On Wall Street bustles waiting for the choice of the new CEO of Microsoft, at the end of a long conclave , which saw place among the eligible candidates the likes of Alan Mulally , Ford ‘s number one, Mark Hurd and Stephen Elop .
In the end it seems that the choice fell on a veteran of the Redmond company , the current head of the Cloud Satya Nardella , 46, of India, accompanied by a career of 22 years at Microsoft. He would be the ideal candidate because it is valued in society, and because it is seen as a “safe haven.”
His task will be to replace a historical figure such as Steve Ballmer, who has decided to retire.
Apparently, however, the Board will have to make many important decisions , including whether to leave the presidency in the hands of its founder , Bill Gates.
The title is heating up in the stock market today , and after a slow start, the gain extends to over 2%.
